Information we collect
When a page loads, BanDanTX records a limited analytics event that may include the page path, page title, referring page, UTM campaign parameters, approximate device width, browser language, timezone, and a daily anonymous visitor hash.
The visitor hash is generated server-side using request metadata and a private salt. It is used only to estimate daily unique visitors. The analytics files do not store raw IP addresses.
How we use analytics
Analytics are used to understand which posts are being read, how visitors arrive at the site, and which public campaigns or QR links are sending traffic. Reporting is reviewed in aggregate.
BanDanTX uses this information to improve site content, navigation, and outreach. It is not used to identify individual visitors.
What we do not do
- We do not use Google Analytics.
- We do not use Meta Pixel or ad retargeting pixels.
- We do not set analytics cookies.
- We do not use browser localStorage or sessionStorage for analytics.
- We do not sell visitor data.
- We do not attempt to identify individual readers.
Data retention
Analytics events are stored as server-side log files for aggregate reporting and operational review. BanDanTX may remove or summarize old analytics logs when they are no longer useful.
Updates to this policy
